With offices in Bamenda (regional office )and Yaounde (head office) we have regular unpaid positions for volunteers and interns. Internship opportunities are designed for undergraduate and graduate students to provide first-hand experience on women’s rights. GeED aims to facilitate, protect and promote the participation of women. Candidates who desir to join GeED’s efforts should be able to demonstrate an interest in, and commitment to, gender equality, advancing the role of women in development
initiatives. Working alongside women and men in the regions of Cameroon will endow you with skills on improving women’s lives through our projects.
Internships at GeED are challenging and highly rewarding and interns should expect to gain practical skills in, and a greater understanding of, the daily running of an NGO. GeED works in all ten regions in Cameroon specifically in the North, South and Center regions where we can and have been making significant contributions. GeED is committed addressing gender inequalities and violence against women and seeks people from diverse backgrounds who share GeED’s mission and vision and are dedicated to improving women’s human rights
