International women’s day: March 8 2011 GeED carries out a lot of sensitization and awareness raising programs related to gender issues, leader ship, workshops, trainings and seminars.

GeED’s primary tool as sensitization has been to inform the general public on women’s issues regarding discrimination, women’s rights and violence against women. With this GeED have so far had five (5) live interactive TV programs with the VISON 4 TELEVISION on diverse topics and key gender issues with our society. GeED has had TV programs on topics such as:
Gender-based violence
What are women’s rights?
Gender and Culture
Education, training, science and technology: A pathway to decent work.
Gender and politics: more women in politics
