Since 2011, Gender Empowerment and Development (GeED) has implemented a series of innovative projects with national and international partners to address Gender-Based Violence (GBV), strengthen safe learning environments, and empower students, teachers, and communities. Over the years, our work has expanded from direct prevention in schools to include psychosocial support, community engagement, policy advocacy, sexuality education, and drug abuse prevention.
